Today, March 8, International Women’s Day, Alanya City Hall is planning a series of events. For example, at 2pm an exhibition called ‘Almond Flowers’ will open. It will showcase works made by Alanya women.
Another event will be dedicated to solidarity and support for those affected by the earthquake. The ‘One Container, One Home’ fair will be held at the entrance of the Alanya Cultural Centre. All proceeds from sales of various items at the fair will go towards the purchase of container houses for the victims.
Both events will continue until 10 March. Of course, the residents and visitors of Alanya will enjoy concerts and various entertainment programmes in the town’s different venues. We remind you that the 8th of March is a working day in Turkey.
